This program depicts treatment of a crewmember who has suffered cardiac arrest, including the use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). The videotape depicts resuscitation of the crewman with a single shock with the AED, administering oxygen, starting an IV, administering intravenous medication, use of a pulse oximeter, applying a cervical collar, moving a crewmember with possible neck injuries, monitoring vital signs, consulting with a physician and packaging the crewmember for helicopter evacuation.
